PKI IT Architect, Infrastructure Network & Security
In this role you will be reporting to the Director of Core (Network and Security) Infrastructure Services, in the Service Management department of Infrastructure & Onsite Services.
Role mission & context
In this role, together with the other members in the TSPKI team, you will be responsible for the architecture of the PKI service for the vehicle connectivity used by Volvo Group Brands. In close relationship with the partner(s) in charge of the detailed technical architecture, you will identify, design, document, communicate and enforce architectural choices that can support Volvo Group long term strategy, while on the other hand preventing architectural choices that can be an obstacle to Volvo Group long term strategy. You will be responsible for driving and creating a consistent infrastructure architecture for the Transport Solution PKI service within Volvo Group.
Main areas of responsibility
Produce and maintain the long term technical architecture strategy and roadmaps, in collabaration with partner(s) and vendors
Secure PKI infrastructure architecture compliance
Participate and in some cases drive research activities, and keep updated on market trends
PKI Infrastructure architecture quality assurance and making sure that external Audits and Assessments is performed yearly
IT-architecture competence to support Volvo Group new PKI initiatives (incl. secure commonality and reusability)
Contact towards Volvo Group users; review and agree on requirements and methods for certificate lifecycle management throughout Volvo Group BA’s
Participate in Tactical PKI Forum
Anomaly review and development (decide what SOC shall monitor)
Supplier speaking partner regarding service run-time changes.
Certificate administration; manually create new certificate and control validity of current certificate. (via Supplier portal).
Co-ordination and prioritization of incidents and problems (in case not fully managed by support and involving several systems and services in addition to Supplier PKI certificate service)
Work with Volvo Group IT Security and Compliance department to define the security architecture concept that can support Volvo Group long term
Up to date expertise in the Vehicle Connectivity and Security area
Required competencies and experience
Minumum 5 year experience as a PKI IT architect role
At ease in a multi-cultural environment

Strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy
Relevant university degree or equivalent
Service and result oriented mind-set

Fluent in English, (BULATS level above 55 points)
